בְּנָן נֻקְבִין דְּיֶהֶוְיָן לִיכִי מִנַּאי, יֶהֶוְיָן יָתְבָן בְּבֵיתִי וּמִתְּזָנָן מִנִּכְסַי עַד דְּתִנַּסְּבָן לְגֻבְרִין, חַיָּב, שֶׁהוּא תְנַאי בֵּית דִּין:
Wenn er nicht [in ihrer Ketuba ] schrieb: "Die weiblichen Kinder, die Sie bei mir haben werden, werden in meinem Haus leben und von meinem Eigentum gefüttert werden, bis sie von Männern verlobt werden", ist er [dennoch] verpflichtet , da dies eine [feste] Bestimmung [erlassen] des Gerichts ist.
