שִׁבְעָה מַשְׁקִין הֵן. הַטַּל וְהַמַּיִם, הַיַּיִן וְהַשֶּׁמֶן, וְהַדָּם, וְהֶחָלָב, וּדְבַשׁ דְּבוֹרִים. דְּבַשׁ צְרָעִים, טָהוֹר, וּמֻתָּר בַּאֲכִילָה:
Os sete líquidos [que tornam os alimentos suscetíveis à impureza] são: orvalho e água, vinho e óleo, e sangue, e leite e mel de abelha. O mel de vespa é puro [não torna os alimentos suscetíveis à impureza] e pode-se comê-los.
