פֵּרוֹת חוּצָה לָאָרֶץ שֶׁנִּכְנְסוּ לָאָרֶץ, חַיָּבִים בַּחַלָּה. יָצְאוּ מִכָּאן לְשָׁם, רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר מְחַיֵּב, וְרַבִּי עֲקִיבָא פּוֹטֵר:
I prodotti provenienti dall'esterno della Terra [di Israele] che sono entrati nella Terra, sono obbligati a Challah [una porzione di un impasto di pane dato a un Kohen (sacerdote, pl. Kohanim ) che diventa santo dopo la separazione e può essere solo consumato da Kohanim o dalla loro famiglia]. Se uscisse da qui [Israele] a lì [fuori dalla Terra]; Il rabbino Eliezer ne obbliga uno [in Challah ], mentre il rabbino Akiva ne esenta uno.
Tosefta Terumot
[If] a ship comes from outside the Land and had in it produce: from the string to the inside, if it is skimming [the sea floor], it is liable (see Gitt. 7b:7), according to the calculation, and [if its from the string to] the outside, [it is considered] outside the Land, and [the produce] is not liable according to the calculation. Rabbi Eliezer says, any amount of dust from the Land of Israel is liable according to the calculation.
