תְּבוּאָה שֶׁנִּתְּנָה לְשַׁחַת אוֹ לַאֲלֻמָּה, וְכֵן בַּאֲגֻדֵּי הַשּׁוּם, וַאֲגֻדּוֹת הַשּׁוּם וְהַבְּצָלִים, אֵין לָהֶן שִׁכְחָה. וְכָל הַטְּמוּנִים בָּאָרֶץ, כְּגוֹן הַלּוּף וְהַשּׁוּם וְהַבְּצָלִים, רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אוֹמֵר, אֵין לָהֶם שִׁכְחָה. וַחֲכָמִים אוֹמְרִים, יֵשׁ לָהֶם שִׁכְחָה:
Grano destinato all'alimentazione animale o per legare [altro grano in covoni] - e allo stesso modo per grandi fasci di aglio o piccoli fasci di aglio e cipolla - questi non sono [soggetti alla legge di] Shikhechah . E tutto ciò che [cresce] nascosto nella terra, come luf [Arum palaestinum] aglio e cipolle, dice il rabbino Yehuda: non sono [soggetti a] Shikhechah ; t] i saggi dicono: sono [soggetti a] Shikhechah .
Mishnah Peah
The following divide a field for peah: a stream, a pool, a private road, a public road, a public path, a private path in constant use in summer and the rainy season, fallow land, a plowed field and a different seed. One who harvested for animal fodder, [the plot] serves divides, the words of Rabbi Meir. But the sages say: it does not stop for peah unless it is plowed.
