Quotation sur Shabbat 2:6
עַל שָׁלשׁ עֲבֵרוֹת נָשִׁים מֵתוֹת בִּשְׁעַת לֵדָתָן, עַל שֶׁאֵינָן זְהִירוֹת בַּנִּדָּה וּבַחַלָּה וּבְהַדְלָקַת הַנֵּר:
Pour trois transgressions, les femmes meurent en couches [en temps de danger, où il y a un risque pour la vie]: pour le laxisme dans (l'observance des lois de) niddah, (la séparation de) challah, et l'allumage de la lampe (du sabbat) . [Parce qu'ils (les deux derniers) sont des besoins du ménage et qu'elle se trouve généralement à la maison, ils lui sont relégués.]
Siftei Chakhamim
For, as long as Sarah was alive a candle burned... They correspond to the three mitzvos which women are commanded (Shabbos 2:6). Corresponding to challah, there was a constant blessing. Corresponding to Shabbos candles, a lamp burned. And the cloud which hung [over the tent] represented the Shechinah. It was there due to the holiness of purity: she carefully observed [the laws of] nidah and would purify herself. And purity brings ruach hakodesh (Avodah Zarah 20b). (Gur Aryeh)
