תְּקוֹעָה, אַלְפָא לַשָּׁמֶן. אַבָּא שָׁאוּל אוֹמֵר, שְׁנִיָּה לָהּ רֶגֶב בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן. כָּל הָאֲרָצוֹת הָיוּ כְשֵׁרוֹת, אֶלָּא מִכָּאן הָיוּ מְבִיאִין. אֵין מְבִיאִין לֹא מִבֵּית הַזְּבָלִים, וְלֹא מִבֵּית הַשְּׁלָחִים, וְלֹא מִמַּה שֶּׁנִּזְרַע בֵּינֵיהֶם. וְאִם הֵבִיא, כָּשֵׁר. אֵין מְבִיאִין אַנְפִּיקְנוֹן. וְאִם הֵבִיא, פָּסוּל. אֵין מְבִיאִין מִן הַגַּרְגְּרִים שֶׁנִּשְׁרוּ בַמַּיִם, וְלֹא מִן הַכְּבוּשִׁים, וְלֹא מִן הַשְּׁלוּקִין. וְאִם הֵבִיא, פָּסוּל:

Tekoa es mejor por su aceite. Abba Shaul dice: En segundo lugar está Regev, al otro lado del Jordán. El [petróleo de] la tierra entera era válido, pero solían traerlo solo de estos lugares. Uno no puede traerlo de un campo fertilizado ni de un campo regado ni de [de olivos plantados en un campo] con semillas sembradas entre ellos, pero si uno lo trajo [de estos] era válido. Uno no puede traer anpikanon [aceite de aceitunas que no estaban completamente maduras], y si uno lo trajo, no es válido. Uno no puede traerlo de las bayas de olivo que habían sido remojadas en agua o conservadas o guisadas; y si uno lo trajo, no es válido.

HALAKHAH: “One is more restrictive for heave in that in Judea one is trustworthy.” Rebbi Simon, Rebbi Joshua ben Levi in the name of Rebbi Pedaiah: Because a strip of Samaritans interrupts150This statement must be late Amoraic, after the exclusion of Samaritans from Judaism according to its rabbinic interpretation (cf. Avodah zarah 3:1 Note 27). The correct version is Rashi’s reading in the Babli: “A strip of Gentile territory”, which is impure in the general impurity of lands outside Jewish Palestine; cf. Dikduke Sopherim Ḥagigah 25a Note 8.. But did we not state151Mishnah Menaḥot 8:3., “the second best is Regev in Transjordan”? And in Judea one is trustworthy about the wine but not about the flasks. Rebbi Simon in the name of Rebbi Joshua ben Levi: A Southerner who said, I brought this from Galilee is trustworthy; a Galilean who said, I brought this from Judea is not trustworthy153In both cases the heave is impure unless under control of a trustworthy person..
