וְאֵלּוּ מְבִיאִין וְקוֹרִין, מִן הָעֲצֶרֶת וְעַד הֶחָג, מִשִּׁבְעַת הַמִּינִים, מִפֵּרוֹת שֶׁבֶּהָרִים, מִתְּמָרוֹת שֶׁבָּעֲמָקִים, וּמִזֵּיתֵי שֶׁמֶן, מֵעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי הַגְּלִילִי אוֹמֵר, אֵין מְבִיאִין בִּכּוּרִים מֵעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן, שֶׁאֵינָהּ אֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבָשׁ:
Diese werden gebracht und rezitiert: [Früchte] von Shavuot bis Sukkot , von den sieben Arten, von Früchten in den Bergen, von Datteln in den Tälern, von Öloliven [sogar von] auf der anderen Seite des Jordan. Rabbi Yose, der Galiläer, sagt, wir bringen keine ersten Früchte von der anderen Seite des Jordan, da es nicht "das Land ist, in dem Milch und Honig fließen" [das beschreibt der Vers].
Tosefta Demai
One who purchases from a poor person, and so too a poor person to whom they gave slices of bread or figs, he takes tithes from each and every one. With [respect to] dates grown in the valleys (Bikkurim 1:10), he tithes from one on behalf of everything. In other places [where the dates are of lower quality], he takes tithes from each and every one. With [respect to] figs in years of satisfaction (see above) he takes tithes from one on behalf of everything, but in the other years he tithes each and every one.
