הָאוֹמֵר, תְּרוּמַת הַכְּרִי זֶה בְּתוֹכוֹ, וּמַעַשְׂרוֹתָיו בְּתוֹכוֹ, תְּרוּמַת מַעֲשֵׂר זֶה בְּתוֹכוֹ, רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אוֹמֵר, קָרָא שֵׁם. וַחֲכָמִים אוֹמְרִים, עַד שֶׁיֹּאמַר בִּצְפוֹנוֹ אוֹ בִדְרוֹמוֹ. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר חִסְמָא אוֹמֵר, הָאוֹמֵר, תְּרוּמַת הַכְּרִי מִמֶּנּוּ עָלָיו, קָרָא שֵׁם. רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר בֶּן יַעֲקֹב אוֹמֵר, הָאוֹמֵר, עִשּׂוּר מַעֲשֵׂר זֶה עָשׂוּי תְּרוּמַת מַעֲשֵׂר עָלָיו, קָרָא שֵׁם:

Wenn man sagt: "Die Terumah dieses Haufens ist darin" oder "sein Zehnte ist darin" oder "der Terumat Ma'aser [ein Teil des Zehnten, der dem Priester gegeben wird] ist darin, Rabbi Shimon sagt: Er hat es [als] Terumah , Zehnten oder Terumat Ma'aser bezeichnet . Aber die Weisen sagen: Nicht, wenn er nicht sagte: "Es ist im Norden oder Süden davon." Rabbi Elazar Chisma sagt: Wenn man sagt: "Die Terumah dieses Stapels wird dafür dafür genommen", hat er es [damit] bezeichnet. Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaakov sagt: Wenn man sagt: "Der zehnte Teil dieses Zehnten wird dafür zu Terumat Ma'aser gemacht", hat er ihn [damit] bezeichnet.

Tosefta Terumot

One who says, "The terumah for this pile [of produce] is in the north," then [the result would be that] the entire half nearest the north is rendered a medummah (a forbidden mixture of terumah and chullin), the words of Rebbi. But the Sages say, [what he can do instead] is arrange the pile in the form of the letter "chi" (similar to an X, to minimize contact between terumah and chullin). Rabban Shimon ben Gamaliel says, he can take the terumah from the northernmost [part].
