הַשֻּׁלְחָן שֶׁנִּטְּלָה אַחַת מֵרַגְלָיו, טָהוֹר. נִטְּלָה שְׁנִיָּה, טָהוֹר. נִטְּלָה הַשְּׁלִישִׁית, טָמֵא כְּשֶׁיַּחְשֹׁב עָלָיו. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי אוֹמֵר, אֵין צָרִיךְ מַחֲשָׁבָה. וְכֵן הַדְּלֻפְקִי:
Ein Tisch, dessen Beine entfernt wurden, ist nicht anfällig für Verunreinigungen. Wenn ein zweites Bein entfernt wurde, ist es immer noch rein. Wenn jedoch ein Drittel entfernt wurde, wird es anfällig für Verunreinigungen, wenn der Eigentümer beabsichtigt, es zu verwenden. Rabbi Yose sagt: Es ist keine Absicht notwendig. Gleiches gilt auch für das Sideboard.
Mishnah Oholot
A thick woolen jacket or a thick wooden block does not bring uncleanness until they are one handbreadth high off the ground. If [garments] are folded one above the other they do not bring uncleanness until the uppermost is one handbreadth high off the ground. Tablets of wood [placed] one above the other do not bring uncleanness unless the uppermost is one handbreadth high off the ground; But if they were of marble, the uncleanness cleaves upwards and downwards.
