מִצְוַת הָעֹמֶר לָבֹא מִן הַקָּרוֹב. לֹא בִכֵּר הַקָּרוֹב לִירוּשָׁלַיִם, מְבִיאִים אוֹתוֹ מִכָּל מָקוֹם. מַעֲשֶׂה שֶׁבָּא מִגַּגּוֹת צְרִיפִין, וּשְׁתֵּי הַלֶּחֶם מִבִּקְעַת עֵין סוֹכֵר:

[Лучшее исполнение] заповеди омера - это [то, что] оно пришло из соседней земли. Если [районы], близкие к Иерусалиму, еще не созрели, они могут привезти их из любого места. Однажды случилось так, что оно пришло от Гагго Црифина, а две буханки пришли из долины Эйн-Сочер.
