סִדֵּר הַמַּעֲרָכָה גְדוֹלָה מִזְרָחָה, וַחֲזִיתָהּ מִזְרָחָה, וְרָאשֵׁי הַגִּזְרִין הַפְּנִימִיִּם הָיוּ נוֹגְעִים בַּתַּפּוּחַ. וְרֶוַח הָיָה בֵין הַגִּזְרִין, שֶׁהָיוּ מַצִּיתִין אֶת הָאֲלִיתָא מִשָּׁם:
Он [священник] расставил большой костер к востоку [сторона алтаря], и он «посмотрел» [маленькие отверстия] на восток [сторону], и концы внутренних бревен коснулись Тапуаха . Между бревнами было место, откуда они могли зажечь ветки.
