הוֹרָה כֹהֵן מָשִׁיחַ לְעַצְמוֹ, שׁוֹגֵג וְעָשָׂה שׁוֹגֵג, מֵבִיא פָר. שׁוֹגֵג וְעָשָׂה מֵזִיד, מֵזִיד וְעָשָׂה שׁוֹגֵג, פָּטוּר, שֶׁהוֹרָאַת כֹּהֵן מָשִׁיחַ לְעַצְמוֹ, כְהוֹרָאַת בֵּית דִּין לַצִּבּוּר:

Se o sacerdote ungido [isto é, se o sumo sacerdote, ungido com o óleo da unção] deliberadamente invocou por si mesmo [que algo era permitido] e transgrediu [por si mesmo] involuntariamente [em uma coisa de transgressão deliberada suscetível de kareth], ele traz um boi. (Se ele governou) involuntariamente e transgrediu intencionalmente, ou (governou) involuntariamente e transgrediu involuntariamente, ele é isento. Pois governar para si o sacerdote ungido é como governar beth-din para a congregação.
