הַמַּרְבֶּה בִּתְרוּמָה, רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר אוֹמֵר, אֶחָד מֵעֲשָׂרָה, כִּתְרוּמַת מַעֲשֵׂר, יָתֵר מִכָּאן, יַעֲשֶׂנָּה תְּרוּמַת מַעֲשֵׂר לְמָקוֹם אַחֵר. רַבִּי יִשְׁמָעֵאל אוֹמֵר, מֶחֱצָה חֻלִּין וּמֶחֱצָה תְּרוּמָה. רַבִּי טַרְפוֹן וְרַבִּי עֲקִיבָא אוֹמְרִים, עַד שֶׁיְּשַׁיֵּר שָׁם חֻלִּין:

Uno che dà più Teruma : il rabbino Eliezer dice: [potrebbe rinunciare a] uno su dieci, come nel caso di Terumat Ma'aser [una parte della decima che viene data al sacerdote]. [Se ha dato] più di questo, deve fare [il extra in] Terumat Ma'aser per altri prodotti. Il rabbino Yishmael dice: [potrebbe arrendersi fino a quando la miscela non sarà] metà Chulin [prodotto non sacro] e metà Terumah . Il rabbino Tarfon e il rabbino Akiva dicono: [può dare] fintanto che rimane [abbastanza per portare] il nome di Chulin .

Tosefta Terumot

The measurement of terumah: Beit Shammai say, one with a good eye (i.e., a generous person) gives one in thirty, the average person gives one in forty, and the wicked person gives one in fifty. Beit Hillel say, one with a good eye gives one in forty, the average person gives one in fifty, and the wicked person gives one in sixty. (See Ter. 4:3.) Rabbi Yishmael says, [he may separate] half chullin (unconsecrated produce) and half terumah (Ter. 4:5) as long as the chullin is of greater quantity than the terumah [!].
