Chasidut su Bega'im 2:5
כָּל הַנְּגָעִים אָדָם רוֹאֶה, חוּץ מִנִּגְעֵי עַצְמוֹ. רַבִּי מֵאִיר אוֹמֵר, אַף לֹא נִגְעֵי קְרוֹבָיו. כָּל הַנְּדָרִים אָדָם מַתִּיר, חוּץ מִנִּדְרֵי עַצְמוֹ. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אוֹמֵר, אַף לֹא נִדְרֵי אִשְׁתּוֹ שֶׁבֵּינָהּ לְבֵין אֲחֵרִים. כָּל הַבְּכוֹרוֹת אָדָם רוֹאֶה, חוּץ מִבְּכוֹרוֹת עַצְמוֹ:
Un uomo può esaminare tutti i Negaim tranne il proprio Negaim . Il rabbino Meir dice: Neanche il negaim dei suoi parenti. Un uomo può revocare tutti i voti tranne i propri voti. Il rabbino Yehudah dice: Neanche i voti di sua moglie che sono tra lei e gli altri. Un uomo può esaminare tutti i primogeniti [animali per vedere se hanno un difetto che li invaliderebbe come sacrifici] ad eccezione del proprio primogenito.
Baal Shem Tov
We learned "a person sees all defects, except (chutz) their own defects" (M. Nega'im 2:5) and the holy Ba'al Shem Tov explained that "a person sees all defects outside (chutz)" - what they see is a continuation of that person's defects, as our sages say "he disqualifies others with his own flaw."
