הַמֵּדֵל בַּגְּפָנִים, כְּשֵׁם שֶׁהוּא מֵדֵל בְּתוֹךְ שֶׁלּוֹ, כֵּן הוּא מֵדֵל בְּשֶׁל עֲנִיִּים, דִּבְרֵי רַבִּי יְהוּדָה. רַבִּי מֵאִיר אוֹמֵר, בְּשֶׁלּוֹ הוּא רַשַּׁאי, וְאֵינוֹ רַשַּׁאי בְּשֶׁל עֲנִיִּים:
Quien poda las vides puede podar las de los pobres tal como poda las suyas: [estas son] las palabras del rabino Yehudah; El rabino Meir dice: Se le permite con respecto a los suyos, pero no se le permite con los de los pobres.
Tosefta Demai
A Jewish Priest [can] eat with a Samaritan Priest when [the food is] made in [a state of] impurity, but when [it is] made in [a state of] purity, behold, he does not eat it with him, because he feeds him the meat of an unblemished first-born [calf], and has him drink wine from a [ritually] pure fourth[-year vineyard].
