Tosefta sobre Demai 7:1

הַמַּזְמִין אֶת חֲבֵרוֹ שֶׁיֹּאכַל אֶצְלוֹ, וְהוּא אֵינוֹ מַאֲמִינוֹ עַל הַמַּעַשְׂרוֹת, אוֹמֵר מֵעֶרֶב שַׁבָּת, מַה שֶּׁאֲנִי עָתִיד לְהַפְרִישׁ מָחָר, הֲרֵי הוּא מַעֲשֵׂר, וּשְׁאָר מַעֲשֵׂר סָמוּךְ לוֹ, זֶה שֶׁעָשִׂיתִי מַעֲשֵׂר עָשׂוּי תְּרוּמַת מַעֲשֵׂר עָלָיו, וּמַעֲשֵׂר שֵׁנִי בִּצְפוֹנוֹ אוֹ בִדְרוֹמוֹ, וּמְחֻלָּל עַל הַמָּעוֹת:

Si uno invita a su amigo a comer en su casa y el amigo no confía en él con respecto a los diezmos, el día antes de Shabat dice: "Lo que voy a separar mañana es [parte del] diezmo, y el resto del diezmo estará a su lado. Lo que he designado como [parte del] diezmo, el Terumat Ma'aser [una porción de los diezmos que se le da al sacerdote] está designado sobre él. Y Ma'aser Sheni [el segundo diezmo, debe ser comido en Jerusalén] está en su norte o sur, y no está consagrado por [transfiriendo su consagración a] monedas ".

[In contrast,] a chaver that was sitting [as a guest] at the wedding feast of an am ha'aretz -- and even if we see him take and eat food immediately, it is not presumed to have been tithed, as he may have tithed "in his heart" (i.e., by making a mental stipulation by giving tithes in exchange for what he ate when he returns home, see Dem. 7:1 Y. Dem. II.2.7). [But in the case that] his son was dining next to him, he [must] tithe for him. [But] if thee is someone else [dining next to him], he does not tithe for him. [And if] his son was sitting in another place [not next to his father, the father still] tithes for him.
