נִגְמְרָה מְלַאכְתָּן, הֲרֵי אֵלּוּ מֻכְשָׁרִין. נָפְלוּ עֲלֵיהֶן מַשְׁקִין, טְמֵאִין. הַמֹּחַל הַיּוֹצֵא מֵהֶן, רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר מְטַהֵר, וַחֲכָמִים מְטַמְּאִין. אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, לֹא נֶחְלְקוּ עַל הַמֹּחַל הַיּוֹצֵא מִן הַזֵּיתִים, שֶׁהוּא טָהוֹר. וְעַל מַה נֶּחְלְקוּ. עַל הַיּוֹצֵא מִן הַבּוֹר, שֶׁרַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר מְטַהֵר, וַחֲכָמִים מְטַמְּאִין:
Una vez que su trabajo está terminado, están preparados para la impureza. Si los líquidos [impuros] cayeron sobre ellos, son impuros, y la savia que emerge de ellos, el rabino Eliezer declara puro, y los sabios declaran impuro. El rabino Shimon dice: No difieren con respecto a la savia que emerge de las aceitunas, que es pura. ¿Y con respecto a qué difieren? Jerusalem Talmud Terumot
In the Mishnah, R. Simeon disagrees with the anonymous Tanna and holds that R. Eliezer declares olive sap pure. Since the Yerushalmi lacks this statement, it seems to reject the statements of R. Simeon and the colleagues.: “The fluid oozing out from them Rebbi Eliezer declares pure but the Sages impure”? Rebbi Ila in the name of Rebbi Eleazar: Rebbi Eliezer agrees with the Sages about the waters of the ocean; even if they are stinking the Torah calls them water (Gen. 1:10): “The collection of water He called oceans.” Rebbi Jacob bar Zavdi in the name of Rebbi Abbahu: Rebbi Eliezer agrees with the Sages that beet juice52תרד (Hebrew) and שׂלק (Arabic) are the same; cf. Kilaim Chapter 1, Note 64. does not prepare.
