תַּנּוּר יָשָׁן בְּתוֹךְ הֶחָדָשׁ וּסְרֵידָה עַל פִּי הַיָּשָׁן, נִטַּל הַיָּשָׁן וּסְרֵידָה נוֹפֶלֶת, הַכֹּל טָמֵא. וְאִם לָאו, הַכֹּל טָהוֹר. חָדָשׁ בְּתוֹךְ הַיָּשָׁן וּסְרֵידָה עַל פִּי הַיָּשָׁן, אִם אֵין בֵּין חָדָשׁ לַסְּרֵידָה פוֹתֵחַ טֶפַח, כֹּל שֶׁבֶּחָדָשׁ טָהוֹר:
Se um forno antigo estava dentro de um novo e a rede estava sobre a boca do antigo [algumas versões: nova]: Se a remoção do antigo causasse a queda da rede, tudo isso é impuro; mas se não, é tudo puro. Se um forno novo estava dentro de um antigo e a rede estava sobre a boca do antigo: se não houvesse um pedaço de espaço entre o forno novo e a rede, todo o conteúdo do novo era puro.
Mishnah Oholot
A board placed over the mouth of a new oven, overlapping it on all sides to the extent of a handbreadth, If there is uncleanness beneath [the board], vessels above it remain clean; If there is uncleanness above it, vessels beneath it remain clean. In the case of an old oven, they become unclean. Rabbi Yohanan ben Nuri declares them clean. [If the board] is placed over the mouth of two ovens, if there is uncleanness between them, they become unclean. Rabbi Yohanan ben Nuri declares them clean.
