תַּנּוּר יָשָׁן בְּתוֹךְ הֶחָדָשׁ וּסְרֵידָה עַל פִּי הַיָּשָׁן, נִטַּל הַיָּשָׁן וּסְרֵידָה נוֹפֶלֶת, הַכֹּל טָמֵא. וְאִם לָאו, הַכֹּל טָהוֹר. חָדָשׁ בְּתוֹךְ הַיָּשָׁן וּסְרֵידָה עַל פִּי הַיָּשָׁן, אִם אֵין בֵּין חָדָשׁ לַסְּרֵידָה פוֹתֵחַ טֶפַח, כֹּל שֶׁבֶּחָדָשׁ טָהוֹר:
Se un vecchio forno si trovava all'interno di uno nuovo, e la rete era sopra la bocca della vecchia [alcune versioni: nuova]: Se rimuovendo quella vecchia si causava la caduta della rete, tutto è impuro; ma in caso contrario, è tutto puro. Se un nuovo forno era all'interno di un vecchio e reti era sulla bocca di quello vecchio: se non ci fosse un tefach di spazio tra il nuovo forno e la rete, tutti i contenuti del nuovo sono puri.
Mishnah Oholot
A board placed over the mouth of a new oven, overlapping it on all sides to the extent of a handbreadth, If there is uncleanness beneath [the board], vessels above it remain clean; If there is uncleanness above it, vessels beneath it remain clean. In the case of an old oven, they become unclean. Rabbi Yohanan ben Nuri declares them clean. [If the board] is placed over the mouth of two ovens, if there is uncleanness between them, they become unclean. Rabbi Yohanan ben Nuri declares them clean.
