הַשֻּׁלְחָן שֶׁנִּטְּלָה אַחַת מֵרַגְלָיו, טָהוֹר. נִטְּלָה שְׁנִיָּה, טָהוֹר. נִטְּלָה הַשְּׁלִישִׁית, טָמֵא כְּשֶׁיַּחְשֹׁב עָלָיו. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי אוֹמֵר, אֵין צָרִיךְ מַחֲשָׁבָה. וְכֵן הַדְּלֻפְקִי:
Un tavolo con una gamba rimossa non è suscettibile all'impurità. Se una seconda gamba è stata rimossa, è ancora pura. Ma se un terzo è stato rimosso diventa suscettibile all'impurità quando il proprietario ha intenzione di usarlo. Rabbi Yose dice: non è necessaria alcuna intenzione. Lo stesso vale anche per la sideboard.

If a second leg was removed it is still clean. But if a third was removed it becomes unclean where the owner has the intention of using it. If the second leg is removed it is still clean, because it can still not be used. However, if the third leg is removed, then all that remains is a board. If he intends to use the board without the legs, then it becomes susceptible to impurity.
