מַשְׁבִּיעַ אֲנִי עֲלֵיכֶם, כְּשֶׁתֵּדְעוּן לִי עֵדוּת שֶׁתָּבֹאוּ וּתְעִידוּנִי, הֲרֵי אֵלּוּ פְטוּרִים, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁקָּדְמָה שְׁבוּעָה לָעֵדוּת:

"Te ruego que cuando conoces el testimonio para mí, vienes y testificas por mí", no son responsables, porque (en tal caso) el juramento precede al testimonio, [mientras que la Torá declara (Levítico 5: 1): " ... y oyó la voz de una maldición (es decir, el juramento) y vio o supo, etc. ", el testimonio que precede al juramento, y no el juramento que precede al testimonio.]
