Responsa for Berakhot 5:8

We were also unsure regarding the liturgical poems (krovitz) added on festivals within the first three blessings of the Amida prayer, and within the blessings before and after the recitation of the Shema. Is it correct to recite them¹Permission to recite such liturgy is given in Tosafot on Berakhot 34a:10, citing Rabbeinu Hananel and Rav Hai Gaon since it is a public and not a private request. (This opinion in attributed to Rabbeinu Tam in Rosh on Berakhot 5:21 and to Ri in Beit Yosef Orach Chaim 112.) , or is it better to refrain from doing so?²This seems to be the opinion given in Halakhot Gedolot 1:49.
