הַכֹּל מִטַּמְּאִין בְּזִיבָה, אַף הַגֵּרִים, אַף הָעֲבָדִים, בֵּין מְשֻׁחְרָרִין בֵּין שֶׁאֵינָן מְשֻׁחְרָרִין, חֵרֵשׁ, שׁוֹטֶה, וְקָטָן, סְרִיס אָדָם, סְרִיס חַמָּה. טֻמְטוּם וְאַנְדְּרוֹגִינוֹס, נוֹתְנִין עֲלֵיהֶן חֻמְרֵי הָאִישׁ וְחֻמְרֵי הָאִשָּׁה, מִטַּמְּאִין בְּדָם כָּאִשָּׁה וּבְלֹבֶן כָּאִישׁ, וְטֻמְאָתָן בְּסָפֵק:

All [persons] are made unclean through a zivah discharge, even converts, even slaves, whether they are emancipated or not emancipated, a deaf mute, a mentally deficient person, a child, a eunuch [whether rendered impotent] by man or a eunuch from the time of seeing the sun [from birth]. [With regard to] a tumtum [person of uncertain gender], or an androginus [One possessing both male and female sex organs], we impose upon them the stringencies of the man and the stringencies of a woman; they render unclean through [menstruation] blood like a woman and through egglike substance [semen] like a man, but their uncleanliness remains in doubt.

Tosefta Bikkurim

The ways in which he is like men: He imparts impurity with white discharge like men. He marries but is not married (נישא not נושא), like men. And he may not seclude himself with women, like men. And he is not provided sustenance (ניזון not נתזן) along with [a person's] daughters, like men. And he does not [permit himself to] become impure by the dead, like men (i.e., male priests). He is subject to transgressing the prohibition against "rounding off [the corners of the head]" (Lev. 19:27) and [if he is a priest] he is subject to transgressing the prohibition against "defiling oneself with the dead" (Lev. 21:1), like men, and he is liable for performing all the commandments in the Torah, like men.
