רֹאשׁ בֵּית דִּין אוֹמֵר מְקֻדָּשׁ, וְכָל הָעָם עוֹנִין אַחֲרָיו מְקֻדָּשׁ מְקֻדָּשׁ. בֵּין שֶׁנִּרְאָה בִזְמַנּוֹ בֵּית שֶׁלֹּא נִרְאָה בִזְמַנּוֹ, מְקַדְּשִׁין אוֹתוֹ. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר בְּרַבִּי צָדוֹק אוֹמֵר, אִם לֹא נִרְאָה בִזְמַנּוֹ, אֵין מְקַדְּשִׁין אוֹתוֹ, שֶׁכְּבָר קִדְּשׁוּהוּ שָׁמָיִם:
Szef bet-din mówi: „Jest uświęcony” [jest napisane (Księga Kapłańska 23:44): „I Mojżesz ogłosił święta L-r.” — skąd wywodzi się, że głowa betdina mówi: „Jest uświęcona”], a cały lud odpowiada: „Jest uświęcona; jest uświęcona” [jest napisane (tamże 3): „… święta L-rd, które nazwiesz je "(otham) —przeczytaj to „atem” („ty”), jest napisane bez vav (tj. deklarujesz nowiu). („Zostało uświęcone; zostało uświęcone” :) dwa razy, napisane (tamże): „wezwania do świętości”, dwa powołania.] Czy jest widziane w swoim czasie [w nocy trzydziestego] czy nie widziane w swoim czasie jest uświęcona.
