כֶּרֶם רְבָעִי, בֵּית שַׁמַּאי אוֹמְרִים, אֵין לוֹ חֹמֶשׁ וְאֵין לוֹ בִעוּר. וּבֵית הִלֵּל אוֹמְרִים, יֶשׁ לוֹ. בֵּית שַׁמַּאי אוֹמְרִים, יֶשׁ לוֹ פֶרֶט וְיֶשׁ לוֹ עוֹלְלוֹת, וְהָעֲנִיִּים פּוֹדִין לְעַצְמָן. וּבֵית הִלֵּל אוֹמְרִים, כֻּלּוֹ לַגָּת:
[Concernant] Kerem Revai : Beit Shammai dit qu'il ne nécessite pas un cinquième supplémentaire [lorsqu'il est racheté] et qu'il ne nécessite pas de suppression. Beit Hillel le dit. Beit Shammai dit qu'il faut Peret [raisins tombés donnés aux pauvres] et Olelot [raisins qui ne poussent pas en grappes et sont donnés aux pauvres], et les pauvres le rachètent pour eux-mêmes. Beit Hillel dit que tout cela va à la pressoir.

Second tithe: one may not sell it, use it as a pledge, exchange it, or use it as a weight. One may not say to his friend [even] in Jerusalem: “Here is [second tithe] wine, give me [in exchange] oil, and the same with all other produce. But people may give it to one another as a free gift.
