Commentary for Parah 7:11

שְׁנַיִם שֶׁהָיוּ מְמַלְּאִין לְחַטָּאת, וְהִגְבִּיהוּ זֶה עַל זֶה וְנָטַל זֶה לָזֶה קוֹצוֹ, בְּקִדּוּשׁ אֶחָד, כָּשֵׁר. בִּשְׁנֵי קִדּוּשִׁין, פָּסוּל. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי אוֹמֵר, אַף בִּשְׁנֵי קִדּוּשִׁין כָּשֵׁר, אִם הִתְנוּ בֵינֵיהֶן:

Two that were filling [water] for the <i>chatat</i>, if they lifted for one another [helping each other carry], or if they removed thorns from each other, if [they were filling water] for one sanctification, it is valid; for two sanctifications, it is invalid. Rabbi Yose says: Even for two sanctifications it is valid if they stipulated between them [before hand that they would do this].
