יוֹחָנָן כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל הֶעֱבִיר הוֹדָיוֹת הַמַּעֲשֵׂר. אַף הוּא בִּטֵּל אֶת הַמְעוֹרְרִים, וְאֶת הַנּוֹקְפִים. וְעַד יָמָיו הָיָה פַטִּישׁ מַכֶּה בִירוּשָׁלָיִם, וּבְיָמָיו אֵין אָדָם צָרִיךְ לִשְׁאוֹל עַל הַדְּמָאי:
Yochanan, der Hohepriester, entließ die Geständnisse des Zehnten. Er eliminierte auch diejenigen, die den "Wake up" -Vers rezitierten, und die Klopfer [der Opferkälber]. Bis zu seinem Tag würde der Hammer in Jerusalem schlagen. Zu seiner Zeit musste niemand nach Demai fragen [Produkte, von denen es ungewiss ist, ob der Zehnte bereits genommen wurde].

They [may bring their grain to be] milled and stored (מפקידין not מרקידין, see Git. 61b.1) at the place of those that eat seventh-year produce, and at the place of those who eat their own produce in a state of impurity (ibid.), but they may not mill [produce] for those who eat seventh-year produce or those who eat their own produce in a state of impurity.
